Doron S. Antrim: “Retired” Businessman & Entrepreneur, Lifelong Seeker of Spiritual Truth, Activist/Change Agent
By “applied spirituality” I mean blending my spiritual life with my existential life, living in my spiritual “zone” while also functioning fully in the day-to-day world of working, creating, accomplishing, facing problems and conflicts, interacting with others on all manner of issues. This will remain an ongoing practice for the balance of my life.
This is a simple metaphor that has been a powerful model for living my life, particularly when it gets difficult. Essentially, when I am grounded in Life I am standing on stool with three strong legs. One is Living in the Moment. Another is Living for Others. The third is Living with Faith in the Divine Life Force.
This is another simple metaphor that brings me back to my spiritual home, to peace and tranquility when things seem to be going very wrong for me (which they rarely do now).
